Students with hearing, speech, or learning disabilities should notify Northshore Driving Academy prior to enrolling and will be eligible for alternative teaching and testing techniques.
You will find Northshore Driving Academy to be very receptive to our clients and will strive to settle any issues. Any grievance(s) not resolved by the school may be forwarded to the Department of Public Safety and Corrections, Office of State Police, Safety Enforcement Section, P.O. Box 66614, Baton Rouge, LA 70896.
If any necessary absence occurs during the classroom portion of instruction contact the office to work out when the class time can be made up. If a student misses or cancels a scheduled driving session without reasonable notice (usually 24 hours prior notice) a fee of $25.00 will be charged to cover instructor costs. No certificate will be awarded until the course requirements are met.
Deposits are transferable to another class time and/or location. Students may reschedule another class date if they are unable to attend the original class. We do not refund deposits. Please call as soon as possible if you are not able to attend class.
Completion of any course at Northshore Driving Academy does not guarantee that a driver's license will be awarded to a student nor will this course count for any school credit. Students may qualify for a discount on auto insurance premiums; contact your agent for details.
